Apartment, average, one month 30 silver This would be a small and basic room with a bed and chest and a lock on the door. Cost is for one month of rent. The floor and walls would be wood and there would be little privacy.
Apartment, excellent, one month 300 silver This would be a spacious room with a private bath, closet, chest of drawers, table, chairs and a very good lock on the door. The walls and floor would typically be stone and draped in rugs and tapestries. Cost is for one month of rent.
Inn, common room 0.1 silver Per night. A common room in an inn is typically a large room where dozens or more people will sleep in crowded conditions. Such a room typically is little more than a loft with straw spread about for warmth and possible a blanket or two. There is no privacy and little comfort. This is simply a place to stay warm and out of the rain.
Inn, private room 1 silver Per night. This is a basic private room. It will typically have a bed with blankets and pillows, a small table, a chair and a sliding bolt on the door.
Inn, noble’s suite 10 silver Per night. A noble's suite is a larger and more luxurious type of private room. It will typically be a spacious room with a closet, a large desk, an oversized bed, flax linen sheets, heavy woolen blankets, locks on the doors and windows, etc. Only large and expensive inns in large cities will provide such rooms.

Brothel - Average 5 silver An hour with an average house girl in an average brothel.
Brothel - Excellent, one night 50 silver A full night with a beautiful courtesan at a high end brothel.
City Guide 3 silver A city guide for a full day.
Jewelry Appraisal 10 silver Identification and appraisal of a single art object or piece of jewelry.
Laundry, one load 1 silver One small load of laundry, washed, dried and folded. Typically ten garments.
Courier, within city 0.1 - 0.5 silver Courier that will deliver a message or package to someone within the same city. Prices varies depending on size of package and size of city.
Courier, caravan 1-5 silver Caravans will often carry packages and letters to nearby cities on their route for a few silver. Price depends on distance.
Courier, private 10-1,000 silver A private courier to carry a message or package can often be hired in major cities. The price varies depending on the size of the package and the distance. A good rule of thumb is 1 silver piece per kilometer. A small package carried by rider to the next village (10 kilometers) would cost 10 silver. A large package, carried by wagon, across a kingdom (1,000 kilometers) over several weeks might cost as much as 1,000 silver.
Sage, one day of research 50 silver This would be to emply a learned scholar or sage to do research in a specific topic in various libraries around the city. A single day of travel and research costs 100 silver pieces.
Scribe 1 silver One hour of an average scribe's time costs 1 silver piece. A scribe can copy any manuscript in any language he knows. Some scribes, learned in exotic languages and greatly skilled in illustration, may charge up to five times that price.
